Quick troubleshooting

Try these steps first—most issues are resolved with the following tips.

Plant identification not accurate?

Use natural light, fill the frame, and try multiple angles (leaf, stem, flower). Clean your camera lens. See Photo tips.

App seems slow?

Close other apps to free memory. Ensure you have storage space available. Restart the app or your device.

Permissions denied?

Enable Camera and Photos/Gallery permissions in your device settings. You can still use other features without these permissions.

Offline issues?

After the first scan, core models cache locally. If identification fails offline, try again once online to refresh the cache.

Open the app and use your camera or upload a photo from your gallery. PlantFocus analyzes the image and provides identification and health status.
